This family of polar bears includes two adorable cubs and their mother. This species in the process of evolving towards a more aquatic existence. It can swim surprisingly long distances and has black skin to protect it from UV light.....sunburn! Despite its adaptations, the reduction in the Acrtic icesheets is bringing this wonderful creature into closer contact with human habitations.
